“Kura (Storehouse)” series rooms have ceilings and walls that are Japanese traditional stucco meticulously hand painted by experienced craftsmen.
Lumber used for the wall accents are more than 100 years old precious pieces.
Natural feeling that expresses Japanese emotion.
Stucco is a superb material that has a cool texture and is visually elegant that can adjust the air quality leading to pleasant sleep.

Gentle air for our health

Stucco is strongly alkaline with the sterilizing property of decomposing organic matters. Main component of stucco is calcium hydroxide whose property is to inhibit the growth and proliferation of bacteria preventing outbreak of mold and mites.

Superb fire resistant property

Conformed to item (ix), Article 2 of Japan’s Building Standards Act, it does not produce toxic gas such as dioxin commonly seen with synthetic building materials.

The ceiling and walls are 2 finished with genuine plaster, which is hand-painted by craftsmen. Not only does it look beautiful, but it also has excellent functions such as humidity control, antibacterial, antifouling, and fire resistance.
